We propose in this article to investigate the concept of control in Deleuze's thought, in order to understand how this notion can be useful to interpret his short and thought-provoking text “Post-scriptum on the society of control” and thus problematize the new processes of subjectivation. We analyzed two courses that the philosopher taught on Foucault in 1986: “Power” and “Subjectivation”. We also dialogue with contemporary studies on the subject. We conclude that it is not possible to make consistent analyzes of the text without taking into account Deleuze's philosophical bases, as part of the literature do. And that, in view of them, it is also necessary to consider the possibilities of liberation in the creation of processes of subjectivation. For Deleuze, in addition to the struggle, art is configured as a possibility of liberation in the face of the new diagram of power.
