PHYSICAL EDUCATION, EDUCATION OF BODY AND FIRST CHILDHOOD: INTERFACES AND CONTRADICTIONS IN THE ROUTINE OF A KINDERGARTEN

Data of an ethnographic research in a Kindergarten are taken to investigate the “place” of Physical Education in the Childhood Education. This place is found in the search of Physical Education teachers of a adequate space to the practices, what meets the aim of to find an environment free of “dispersion”, “mixing”, an environment that stays the kids “well” protected. The results show also an institutional routine where corporal practices and body cares are protagonists, something that as a detour, en moments with: a) punishments and threats, b) practices of exclusions and prejudices, c) violence, d) gestures and movements controls.Downloads
