PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS’ ATTITUDE TOWARD COOPERATIVE LEARNING

Cooperative work has several advantages for students. In this research, we expect to find out Physical Education teachers’ attitude towards cooperative learning style and its benefits according to teachers’ educational level and age through a sample of 455 participants, using inferential analysis (Welch and ANOVA). Some data shows significant differences based on educational level, since teachers holding degrees in Sports and Physical Activity Science and Physical Education think that cooperative learning improves personal relationship (p=.000) and communication among students (p=.003). In addition, regarding age younger teachers see cooperative learning as improving social interaction skills (p=.000).Downloads
