In this essay, we analyze the phenomenon of bullying, as a behavior which is “cruel, intrinsic in interpersonal relationships, by which the strongest ones conver t the f ragi le ones in object of entertainment and amusement, through jokes that hide the goal of mistreat and threat (FANTE 2005)”. Following Scott (2005), we discussed alternatives in the deal with the different, report and analyze some prototypical cases of the phenomenon, verified with girls and boys in physical education classes, in the public school of Rio de Janeiro. We conclude that this behavior is inserted in cultural and social contexts, and that the classes of physical education reproduce the context favoring them.Downloads
