This article analyses the impressions of students studying for the teacher training degree in Physical Education and who are currently doing their Practicum. The Practicum is a compulsory component of the first part of their training, during which they spend thirteen weeks in Primary Education Centres where they observe, collaborate and intervene in different aspects of school life. By analysing the reports written by the students at the end of the Practicum we hope to gain insights into their opinions on the importance of the Practicum in their training process, the School to which they were assigned, and the teaching of Physical Education at the school. The study explores teaching processes in this area of primary school teacher training. The main objective was to determine the extent to which the students' impressions of their experience reflect a satisfactory assimilation of the skills they are expected to develop. The findings may have a bearing in the future on the teaching given by university lecturers as part of the Practicum.Downloads
