Abstract

This is a review of the movie Educación Fisica (2012), a Chilean production starred and directed by Pablo Cerda, funded by the City of San Antonio, setting of the film's locations. It is highlighted, initially, the good reception of the film by Latin American specialized critics upon its release. It is articulated the film's plot, the story of a Physical Education teacher, bored with life and without any perspectives towards his future, with the specific literature on the teaching abandonment / pedagogical divestment in the area. Finally, it is recommended the didatic use of this movie in courses for Physical Education teachers.

Possui graduação em Educação Física - Licenciatura pela Universidade Regional do Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (2012) e mestrado em Ciências do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2014). Atualmente cursa o doutorado na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação física; educação física escolar; formação; currículo.

Humberto Luis de Cesaro, Instituto Federal Catarinense - Luzerna, Santa Catarina, Brasil.

Possui graduação Educação Física (Licenciatura Plena) pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1998), especialização em Aprendizagem Esportiva pela faculdade da Serra Gaúcha (2008) e mestrado em Ciências do Movimento Humano pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2012). Atualmente é professor do Ensino Básico, Técnico e Tecnológio no Instituto Federal Catarinense - Campus Luzerna. Doutorando em Ciências do Movimento Humano na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
