“EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA”: A CHILEAN FILM ABOUT THE AESTHETICS OF ABANDONMENT

This is a review of the movie Educación Fisica (2012), a Chilean production starred and directed by Pablo Cerda, funded by the City of San Antonio, setting of the film's locations. It is highlighted, initially, the good reception of the film by Latin American specialized critics upon its release. It is articulated the film's plot, the story of a Physical Education teacher, bored with life and without any perspectives towards his future, with the specific literature on the teaching abandonment / pedagogical divestment in the area. Finally, it is recommended the didatic use of this movie in courses for Physical Education teachers.
