BACK SCHOOL: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR SCHOOLCHILDREN IN BRAZIL

This study aims to present and discuss the Back School programs developed for students in Brazil. It was used a methodology for systematic review of scientific articles in several data bases and in the Bank of Thesis and Dissertations of the Capes. From nine publications included in this study it was concluded that Back School programs contribute to the acquisition of the theoretical knowledge and postural habits healthy during the execution of activities of daily living. However, studies aimed to identify whether the knowledge and the postural habits acquired are kept in the course of time are still scarce.
