Digital accessibility in de literature of the annals of ENANCIB (1994-2012)

This work aims at investigating the expansion of emerging themes in contemporary times within the scenario of the Information Science, such as Digital Accessibility, aligned with proposals that may contribute to building more inclusive digital informational environments. The work focused on papers published in national meetings for research and graduate studies in information science (ENANCIB) within the period of 1994 to 2012. The methodology considered in this study uses a quali-quantitative approach. The results show that in recent years there has been an exponential growth in the number of works related to Accessibility, and that methodologies such as Information Architecture have been referenced as a project of inclusion of people with disabilities in informational digital environments.Downloads
