Juscelino Kubitschek: the myth in the miniseries JK

The proposal of this research is study how the mediatic image of Juscelino Kubitschek, ex-brasilian president, was developed. The initial hypothesis work with the perspective that JK was shaped as a myth during the miniseries. The analysis is conducted by the ideas of Roland Barthes and his figures of myth. Also studied biographies and magazines by the time that Juscelino was a President, in 60’s, to improve the knowledge about the historic facts in the JK’s years and compare with the mediatic version.
