Needs Assessments for the New Building of Public Library of State of Rio Grande do Sul

The physical planning of the new headquarters of a public library begins by devising a set of assessment needs for this building. This article proposes a set of these needs for the new building of the Public Library of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (BPE). The assessment needs are an exhausting list of all the requirements that he building must satisfy. The purpose of this is to diagnose the current needs of the BPE’s physical space, to project its future needs and to guide the architect in an eventual remodelling of new headquarter.Downloads
