Preservation of digital information archive: effects for cultural heritage

This study aims to discuss the archival preservation of digital information, regarding them as integral parts of the documentary heritage and cultural. With advances in technology oriented information, part of the documentary heritage eventually be created and used in electronic environments. Thus there is need for studies to find alternatives to long-term preservation of such information, responsible for portraying the history and evolution of society. The methodology of this work, staff in the theoretical analysis regarding the documentary heritage and culture, linking it to the institutions that produce and preserve records in digital format.Downloads
