O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma metodologia de pesquisa decolonizadora. A primeira seção problematiza a produção de conhecimento ocidental, usando a matriz colonial de poder de Aníbal Quijano. A segunda teoriza como um pluralismo epistemológico que seja crítico, decolonizador e performativo poderia responder à produção de conhecimento ocidental e à matriz colonial de poder. A terceira discute como esta metodologia foi aplicada ao butô para desenvolver o Butô Crítico. A seção final apresenta He rawe tona kakahu / She wore a becoming dress, uma performance butô que explora a interseção entre gênero e colonização como uma aplicação prática desta metodologia.Downloads
