Abstract

A theater where the spectator is involved in all senses, offering welcoming conditions. In the work of Pina Bausch, everyday body behavior is not just a matter of style; her dance develops content with a proper writing, inviting the spectator to experience a poetic reality. For this purpose, the article initially presents a historical line of Tanztheater, its attributes and interrelationships, closing with the specific characteristics of four works of the choreographer, created in the period comprising the initial two decades (1974-1989) of her fruitful production, and which were watched live by the author of the text.

É Professora efetiva da Escola de Comunicações e Artes – Departamento de Artes Cênicas da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA/CAC/ USP). Bailarina, Coreógrafa, Pesquisadora, Pedagoga em Dança formada pela Hochschule Für Musik und Tanz - Köln (Alemanha-2003). Doutora em Artes- Dança pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas(UNICAMP-2007) e Pós- Doutora(UNICAMP/FAPESP-2007-2009), período que também atuou como professora-colaboradora, namesma Universidade.

Estudou dança e atuou na Alemanha durante 19 anos (1985-2004), onde, a convite da coreógrafa e bailarina alemã Susanne Linke, se aperfeiçoou na Folkwang Hochschule de Essen (1985) Escola

Superior dirigida por Pina Bausch. Inclui ainda na sua trajetória profissional criações com artistas

da dança e de diversas áreas afins como o Tanztheater Christine Brunel (Essen/Alemanha 1985-1992), Peter Kowald - Música/ Improvisação (1988- 2001), Barbara Heinisch - Artes Plásticas / Improvisação (1987-2002).

É também consultora na área de dança e para projetos pedagógicos em dança-educação. Tem

publicado artigos diversos, e entre 2007-2010, participou do projeto da Secretaria de Educação do Estado de São Paulo – “São Paulo faz Escola” escrevendo para os Cadernos do Professor e do Aluno: Arte – Linguagens, códigos e suas tecnologias. O livro: “Rastros do Tanztheater no Processo Criativo de ES-BOÇO”, resultado de sua tese de doutorado, será lançado pela EditoraAnnablumeao longo do segundo semestre de 2010.

Sua atual pesquisa acadêmica transita entre o processo criativo de obras cênicas com temáticascontemporâneas, em associação com elementos encontrados noTanztheater(Dança teatral alemã).
