Abstract

In the current media and spectacles cultural context, the expansion of performance into different practices challenges theatre to create alternative models to approach human experience. As a response, theatre appeals to the sensitive and empathic contact of bodies with the intimacy of affective connections, with biographical stories and their respective  projections in the social and historical realms. This work  proposes an investigation of the theatrical work of Argentine artist Lola Arias in dialog with this performative model of  contemporary culture.
