This article deals with the process of documenting a theatrical performance and, more specifically, with the mode of writing/visuality represented by the records of the creative process. Thus, it studies the basis and form of the notes used by directors and groups during the prepara- tion of a staging. It addresses mainly the following themes: general and specific technical records; staging as text to be read; content and precision of the records of staging; and, records of staging in the Arab culture.Downloads
