- I propose to discuss notions of experience and presence, body and performance based on the staging of the opera Auto da Catingueira, by Elomar Figueira Mello. The study is the result of doctoral research and I mainly use bibliographical, critical and theoretical reviews. I seek to delve into the staging, carrying out a study-analysis of the recording. Through discussions, I want to encourage reflections on the multiplicity of languages brought to this theater and the role of the spectator body in the perception of each scene and (re)construction of the different meanings brought, in a performance that moves from the stage and also takes place in the experience of who watches.
