Abstract

This article proposes reflections based on playful experiences in art and education with children, highlighting the concept of child performer, by Marina Marcondes Machado (2010a, 2010b, 2015). The dialogues will be established mainly from the master's dissertation in Performing Arts (2019, UFRN), on performances of children's playing bodies from the universe of orixás of the Yorubá nation, in Early Childhood Education. Crossings between references and methodological paths – hybridization between theater, dance and music – built and experienced, will contribute to highlighting playful, artistic, Afro-referenced and performative narratives of children playing.
