This article describes the main points of the career of the theatre group UTA – Usina do Trabalho do Ator, by making a brief overview of its scenic achievements thus far. We also seek to recognize the more important characteristics of UTA, built and set up along this career, such as the plasticity and musicality of its achievements, dramaturgy itself, a result of the group’s experiments and improvisations, as well as a permanent and careful actor’s research, supported mainly by theatrical anthropology practices.Downloads
