Resumo

This article investigates the Laban na Voz Method, an approach that highlights the voice as a central element in the construction of theatrical characters. Through autoethnography, the study narrates the creative process of actor Felipe Rio Ruas in composing the soliloquy Menandro - Dying Should Be Sweet, exploring the voice as a driver of the corporeal-vocal event. The article seeks to deepen the theoretical discourse of the Laban na Voz Method through both experimentation and practice, expanding the understanding of the character and the range of vocal and physical intentions it can embody, thereby enriching the performance with greater complexity.
