The review addresses the book Technomagic: ecstasy, totem, and enchantment in digital culture, by Vincenzo Susca, offers a sensitive and critical reading of digital culture. By articulating imagination, technology, and sensoriality, the author examines how devices and algorithms become the totems of modern life, reorganizing reality through rituals and affects. Far from condemning technology, Susca invites us to understand technomagic as an enchanted realism in which the digital not only connects but also seduces, guides, and shapes subjectivities.
