This study analyzes the importance of Art Education in Mozambican primary education, an area that is often neglected in the school curriculum. Its devaluation contributes to students' loss of interest when they move on to secondary school. Art Education is essential for cognitive, emotional and cultural development, revealing students' creative potential. The research, carried out at the Pimissa School, seeks to understand the impact of valuing this subject from an early age and how its inclusion in the curriculum can foster an integral education, promoting more creative, empathetic and socially engaged citizens.
