Abstract

Access to safe water for a large part of the population of the province of Chaco - Argentina is a privilege that they will never be able to access. Entire towns without connection to the grid and entire popular neighborhoods live with cisterns, rainwater and sporadic supplies of water. This photographic essay recounts, from an ethnographic perspective, the critical situation in relation to water and housing precariousness. The photographic series on display seeks to give a face and contextualize situations of inequality widespread throughout Latin America regarding access to safe water.
