Abstract

This essay is part of the collection that I produced for the collective exposition
named “Profession and Memory”, organized by “Memory and Photography Research Group”
(GPMeF/Unicamp), between the years 2012 and 2013. The exposure, which was promoted by
the important festival Hércules Florence of Photography, had the intention to show traditional
professions transmitted by orality from generation to generation, thus, that persist over the
time despite the continuous updating of productive processes, the result of the advance of
capitalist technologies.
