Abstract

In late 2019, a new respiratory syndrome spread, changing the way of life globally. Especially in Brazil, our experiences changed and we started to live without freedom and security, isolated, in quarantine. This health danger, accentuated by a necropolitics promoted by the federal government, fixed us in a place of liminality, from which we scream for help. Thus, the visual boards presented here result from a “poly-aesthetic” (political-ethical-aesthetic) re-elaboration, articulating traces of individual and collective memories. To do so, we start with works published by the project “Pandemia of Narratives: life in quarantine”, which has Instagram as its privileged means of documenting and sharing experiences in times of pandemic.
