Abstract

With the presentation of this photographic essay, we intend to portray the essence of the city of Porto, starting from a kind of tour through key and remarkable elements of living in the city, but which, in turn, are strong promoters of the affirmation of the city as a haven and a port of senses. To this end, we draw on the contributions and insights of Sarah Pink (2020), about the application of a visual ethnography, while we interconnect with a series of poetic written resources, also full of meanings and symbologies.
