Belween Words and Things ... Infinite Forms of Control

Abstract

This article is an attempt to synthesize some of the categories worked out by Foucault and Deleuze,
in examining the "sovereignty", "disciplinary" and "control" societies. Taking the
authors' analysis regarding those societies, I try to describe some of the conflicts we
are going through in trying to survive in contemporary society, characterized by an
hegemonic social, economic and cultural globalization, where there is no freedom but
plenty of infinite controls.
