This paper presents a methodology for characterizing the distribution of the air temperature in the urban canopy layer, based on mobile measurements, and the comparison with measures outside the urban area. This methodology was applied in two different towns: Bauru (Brazil) and Braga (Portugal). Based on the comparison of results, the influence of several urban parameters, especially the green areas and the sky view factor on the urban air temperature of the canopy layer is discussed.Downloads
