The objective of the study was to investigate the construction of the professional trajectory of professional soccer players of the Brazilian team. Six male soccer players were interviewed, who were part of the main team of clubs competing in the first division of the Brazilian Championship. Inclusion criteria: minimum of two years as a player in the professional category and at least one call by the Brazilian Football Team. The athletes were interviewed individually. From the analysis of the changes, it appears that football presents as a central theme in their lives and that a family has an important role in the context of sport. The importance of psychological skills is confirmed for those who reach the elite of professional football and the Brazilian team. Understanding the sporting trajectory of elite athletes is a topic of great quality for the advancement of sports science.Downloads
