The aim of this paper is to discuss some results of a research in process, whose objective is to investigate aspects of the education of the body in the school. Physical education and sport at a public school of Florianópolis/SC were researched by systematic observations and interviews. The results show the prevalence of sport and its norms and values in the Physical Education as parody of itself, and the ambiguity of Sport at School, between the imperatives of the competition and the speeches about the human formation by sporting practices.Downloads
