TIME AND SPACE FOR EDUCATION IN THE DAILY BODY OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL

This article’s objective is to analyze the possibilities of corporal education during the physical education classes, practices, school break and free time in a public school in Rio de Janeiro. For that we did interviews with the students and observe than during there classes, free time and school break. The analysis of the articles indicates that the classes are identified by the students as a positive value, at least for some of than. The motives of the devaluation are linked in a complex net of tension between the members of the school, the school community, diversity o values about the citizen’s formation and purpose of the physical education.
