Este artigo levanta o uso e o impacto das TIC no cenário educativo, especificamente diante das necessidades de mudanças curriculares, bem como busca levantar o potencial transformador desenvolvido nesse cenário. Para tanto, ressalta-se o papel das TIC na adequação da educação ao contexto de transformações sociais ocasionadas pelo uso de comunicação mediada por interfaces de hipermídia.
