A Reflection on the construction of identity and communication in the context of network organizations
Keywords:
Network organizations. Identity. Organizational communication.Abstract
This article is developed from a theoretical reflection on the division of labor in the network society, the construction of identities and organizational communication. The goal is to identify possible approaches to study the construction of identities in the context of networked organizations and its relationship to organizational communication, specifically the internal communication. In the environment of discontinuities of network organizations, interactions and communication have a central role in understanding the construction of identities. Thus, the notion of identification, not identity based on the continuity of life stories, seems best suited to understand this phenomenon.Downloads
