bibliometric study at Scopus from 2010 to 2020

Digital curation is an area of research whose relevance has grown due to the increase in digital information. This article analyzes the scientific output about digital curation indexed on Scopus database from 2010 to 2020. It collects 334 references from Scopus documents and uses the software Bibliometrix and VOSViewer. It analyses the results related to production, connection and citation indicators, like: documents' typology, temporal evolution, Lotka's law, authors that are more productive and their impact, Bradford's law, sources of publication with more impact, keywords used by the authors and their cooccurrence network, and co-quotation analysis. It concludes that digital curation is an interdisciplinary area with vast research possibilities. The results offer a partial overview of digital curation capable of helping researchers to have a starting point and understand the stage of development of the theme.Downloads
