A Pele de Vênus:
análise de uma obra artística no teatro e no cinema à luz do grande tempo

This article aimed to analyze the artistic work Venus in Fur, from its constitution in two speech genres: the theatrical dramaturgy Venus in Fur, written by David Ives in 2010, and the French feature film La Vénus à la fourrure, directed by Roman Polanski in 2013. This work responds to the novel Venus in Fur, by the Austrian writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. By urdestanding that artistic works are part of a long human discursive chain, reflecting and refracting their own time, at the same time as they respond to the past, projecting themselves into the future, we choose to offer new counterword to the questions raised by the character Vanda, involving the meanings historically attributed to women.
