Este artigo situa o teatro laboratório na história da inovação social e busca mostrar como o fenômeno dos laboratórios sociais do século XXI proporciona modos de pensar que possam efetivamente informar concepções contemporâneas de teatro laboratório. Ao examinar o Maketank, uma organização incipiente em Exeter, no Reino Unido, o artigo propõe uma nova abordagem organizacional, denominada laboratório cultural, que combina princípios dos laboratórios teatrais e sociais com o objetivo de estender o teatro laboratório para esferas de ação cultural mais amplas.Downloads
