Disonancias en la Presencia: el cuerpo y su extensión audiovisual

Resumo

El presente artículo muestra las consecuencias de la extensión del cuerpo a través del medio audiovisual y cómo esa nueva corporalidad afecta a la percepción del espectador que encuentra una disonancia en la presencia. Lo que entendíamos por cuerpo extiende sus límites a través de la imagen y del sonido y esta capacidad será aprovechada por algunos artistas que basan su trabajo en el cuerpo y que deciden establecerse en ese terreno deslizante entre la presencia corporal y la presencia audiovisual.

Isis Saz (Universidad de Castilla La Mancha - Cuenca, Espanha), UNIVERSIDAD DE CASTILLA LA MANCHA

PhD in Fine Arts (2009)Special prize on graduation (2005)

She does her artistic formation and academic career specializing in History

of contemporary art, History of Scenics Arts and Dance Critic. Member of

the group of Research ARTEA. She participates in a diversity of national and

international projects connected with the scenic practices and research on

performance art and visual culture. She completed her teaching and research

trajectory with grants and doctoral scholarships from the UCLM, JCCM and

MICINN, with a research stay at the Live Art Development Agency (London)

and collaborations with other universities and centres ( UAH, CSIC, UB, and

CNA)

 

Nowadays she is Full Professor and Researcher in the Faculty of Fine Arts

(Cuenca, Spain), guest professor at the Master in Performing Arts Practise and

Visual Culture (UAH) (2009-2012) and at the Summer Courses (University of

Zaragoza) (2007-2010). Se has directed workshops and conferences about

videoart, audiovisual techniques and scenic work- Casa Museo Orlando

Hernández (Las Palmas),Teatro Pradillo (Madrid) y Casa Encendida (Madrid)

-. Se has written her articles on academic books and journals specialized in art,

dance and theatre -Instituto Cervantes, Estudis Escènics (Institut del Teatre),

Cairón (UAH) o Telón de Fondo (UBA. Completed and defended her doctoral

dissertation: "Videofronteras: entre el cuerpo y la cámara" directed by José

Antonio Sánchez and being part of the statal program FPU. She took her Phd

with a distinction "cum laude" by unanimity.

 

Director and curator of Videoborders, a project of research about art practices

connected with performance art and audiovisual works.
