Aportes a una teoría social de la comunicación

Communicational Practices and Social Processes. Problems and Categories of Analysis.Abstract
This paper’s main goal is to present some theoretical alternatives and investigation paths regarding the relations between communication practices and social processes, by which they build each other mutually. The following general hypotheses are taken as a starting point: a) the construction of theory and the research on communicational processes enrich and consolidate themselves, when they are associated to effective propositions on social processes; b) the second general hypothesis – in deep relation with the first one – sustains that it is possible to build certain categories of analysis that are common and practicable for either social processes or specifically for communicational, discursive and mediatic processes.
