Quality of life has been playing an important role in public health and is one of the goals in preventive and therapeutic interventions in cardiology. This paper aims at performing a review of the literature concerning quality of life in cardiology, focusing on the main conceptions, measurement methods, and significant clinical changes. More research using carefully selected measurements should be performed, since it is of great relevance for the patient and for the health professional responsible for providing care.Downloads
