In this text I present some of the research that I have been developing in the context of my work as a teacher in the discipline of Arts, which have in common the imagetic universe and are based both on activities that encourage the critical reading of different images and on the production proposition itself. of images. My participation in GEARTE was and still is fundamental for the constant updating of my perspective as a teacher/researcher. Continuing to research brings me closer, day by day, to the teacher I want to be, leading me to be aware and, by noting, leading me to intervene and, intervening, I seek to educate my students and myself (FREIRE, 1997).
