This text aims to reflect on experiences with cinema in basic education arts classes in the context of digital education, considering the need for media education that allows students to have aesthetic experiences in the field of art and technology (Pillar, 2011; Roldán, 2012). Based on the concept of the Post digital Age (Alexenberg, 2011; Santaella, 2018), I seek to defend the reservation of time and space for entirely analog work in art classes (Vega, 2012, 2023), taking into account a regime of visuality already accustomed to animation in digital media, and in dialogue with the implementation of public policies related to media education and the languages of cinema (Fresquet, Alvarenga, 2023).
