The national curricular parameters under analysis

Abstract

The study discusses the definition of national curricular parameters to the elementary school. It challenges the conception and the elaboration process of these parameters and attempts to identify the multiculturalism approach which informs the proposal. It argues that the experiences of oppressed groups have to be valued and considered during the process of organizing schooling.
