A PESQUISA EM HISTÓRIA DA EDUCAÇÃO - TESTEMUNHO DE UM AUTOR: ENTREVISTA COM LÚCIO KREUTZ
Abstract
“Vinte e seis de março de mil novecentos e quarenta e um, meio-dia. Cecília Ludwig, parteira, suspendeu a preparação do almoço para atender a mais um chamado. Dessa vez iria para o lote nº 41, da Linha Central, em Santo Cristo, à casa de Isidoro Kreutz. Eu havia dado sinais de querer nascer” (KREUTZ, 2011, p. 25). Com essas palavras, o Professor Lúcio Kreutz inicia a narrativa de suas memórias mais remotas de existência e processo de escolarização em livro intitulado Tempos de Escola – memórias, organizado pela Professora Beatriz Daudt Fischer[1]. No capítulo, Kreutz relembra histórias da infância, em família de descendentes de imigrantes alemães, vivendo em área rural, no noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul, em época de nacionalização varguista. Reflete sobre efeitos da nacionalização, sobre as vivências em escola lassalista, os encontros em família, que ele assim descreve: “Nossa família era de pequenos agricultores, com dez filhos, todos com escola paga pelos pais. Tínhamos o suficiente para não passar fome e frio, mas vivíamos de forma muito modesta, à base de muita economia” (KREUTZ, 2011, p. 33). Após ter cursado a quinta série seguiu para estudar no seminário, permanecendo por mais de catorze anos estudando.
