Museos inclusivos para públicos diversos: posibilidades de la historia pública ante las memorias escolares ocultas (LGTBIQ+)
Abstract
Today we need to think and rethink museums in terms of public history, understanding that they constitute spaces that are particularly suitable for bringing together diverse publics and audiences. Community participation is a crucial point in the framework of museums. In this paper, based on the analysis of reference literature and the survey of specific experiences in different museums, we set out to look at LGTBIQ+ audiences, asking ourselves about their experiences, experiences, memories, traumas and/or concerns related to the school environment. Assuming that it is time to build an inclusive world that is capable of making visible the school and educational memories of different social groups that have remained invisible throughout history and that undoubtedly have much to contribute in relation to how they have lived and live the school and educational processes in very different ways.
