Abstract

Este número monográfico analiza la importancia que han tenido los OI en el origen, desarrollo y reconfiguración de los sistemas nacionales de educación en diversos países. Trata de estudiar el impacto de instituciones como la UNESCO, la OCDE, el BM o los fenómenos de diplomacia educativa en dicho proceso. Por otro lado, su objetivo no sólo se centra en estudiar las influencias internacionales de los citados Organismos Internacionales. También tiene la intención de avanzar en el desarrollo del giro transnacional en Historia de la Educación. Por tanto, uno de sus principales objetivos es investigar cómo se desarrolló el fenómeno conocido como arquitectura global de la educación o gobernanza educativa global.
