Mulheres na rua: do “fiu-fiu” ao estupro

O assédio em espaços públicos são recorrentes no cotidiano das mulheres. Diante dessa problemática, este estudo, de cunho bibliográfico e documental, tem por objetivo contribuir com as discussões acerca do assédio em lugares públicos a partir do documentário Femme de la rue. Doravante a reflexão sobre as histórias (não) contadas das mulheres, buscou-se traçar uma linha comum do “fiu-fiu” ao estupro que, embora se configurem em graus diferentes de violência contra as mulheres, tem em comum o processo de reificação do corpo feminino, que foi transformado em coisa e fetichizado como mercadoria em um processo sócio histórico. Deste modo, defende-se a importância de novas pesquisas para ampliar o debate, bem como a construção e fortalecimento de políticas públicas que passem a englobar no escopo de suas ações a árdua tarefa de enfrentar o sistema patriarcal, racista e heteronormativo, sustentáculo das violências contra as mulheres.
