O que pode a Psicologia Social com relação ao presente?

Este artigo problematiza a Psicologia Social tomando o social não enquanto um campo de aplicação da psicologia moderna, mas enquanto um efeito das tensões de saber e poder. Nosso objetivo é questionar quais elementos que compõem o presente têm sido discutidos nesse campo de conhecimento, ao mesmo tempo em que são esses mesmos elementos que produzem a psicologia social enquanto campo de saber e intervenção frente ao presente da configuração político-econômica brasileira. As problemáticas da organização do poder mundial, as lógicas capitalistas neoliberais e as forças coloniais e conservadoras são pontos de análise durante o texto, especialmente no que diz respeito à América Latina. O recorte temporal utilizado para a escrita deste artigo se situa nos anos de 2018 e 2019 pois esses anos têm se constituído como experiências limites que ao mesmo tempo que tendem a nos imobilizar, criam a necessidade de produzirmos um pensamento vivo e acreditando na mudança que podemos operar no mundo.
