Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance of body education within Scouting in the early decades of the twentieth century. Texts published in Revista O Tico Tico, published between 1921 and 1931 were analyzed. It was found that Scouting was released in Brazil as a coalescing educational practice to pedagogical modernities the consideration regarding the activities of the body
