“Images in Action”: an Action-Research about Using TV Programs in Physical Education Courses in The Primary and High-School

The goal of this research was to experience and to evaluate the use of TV programs as matter and teaching strategy in physical educations courses as a school matter. The methodology we used was the action-research. The results are been showed referred to: chosen themes, pupil’s interest, strategies that were used. The conclusions show that using television programs was helpful to concretize a conception of physical education based on the goal of critical appropriation of the body movement culture, nevertheless the emphasis was on the development of conceptual contents, and that were transformations in the pedagogical work of the involved teachers.Downloads
