Abstract

This text seeks to discuss the relationship between Vila Olímpica da Maré (VOM) and some schools, in its trajectory of implementation like a public policy of sports and leisure at Rio de Janeiro City. Which conceptions of education, sport and leisure can be observed in this project? How’s the VOM relationship with the schools? What are the pedagogical-political dimensions for that encounters?
