Abstract

It is intended to analyze the productions of Brazilian researchers regarding the process of Scientific Literacy (SC) during Elementary School and the use of digital technologies, the metaverse, in this way, we sought to understand how the approach of Brazilian productions regarding this issue has been. of the Scientific Literacy process and the use of Metaverse digital technologies in Elementary School? For the production of data for this research of qualitative aspects, a documentary research was carried out in the Portal de Periódicos da CAPES. The productions found indicate that the conceptualization of CA is uniform among researchers, however, different terms are used, including the differentiation in relation to the term of scientific literacy. The Metaverse presents itself as the evolution of augmented reality, merging the real and the virtual world, as the production of scientific knowledge regarding its use in the school environment is limited, the need for future studies is evident.

Atualmente tem o vínculo de Professor Convidado da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) e está credenciado como Professor Permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Informática na Educação (PPGIE) da UFRGS desenvolvendo atividades de pesquisa, ensino e orientação. Professor Titular Aposentado da UFRGS. Possui Graduação em Processamento de Dados pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1978), Mestrado em Ciências da Computação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1982) e doutorado em Informática pela Université Joseph Fourier (antiga Université Scientifique et Medicale) - Grenoble I (1990). Tem experiência na área de Ciência da Computação, com ênfase em Sistemas Hipermídias atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Aprendizagem Ubiqüa, Hiperdocumentos como Recursos de Aprendizagem, Sistemas de Recomendação, Awareness, Workflow e Sistemas Cooperativos (CSCW).

Doutor em Informática na Educação, Mestre em Ciência da Computação e Engenheiro Eletrônico. Professor Associado e Pesquisador atuando no Curso de Pós Graduação em Informática na Educação e na Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Entre 1985 e 2004 atuou na iniciativa privada como engenheiro, gerente de projetos e executivo nas áreas de informática e automação industrial.
